Volunteers

 
Volunteers are welcomed at DNC and they have all found their time with the children very rewarding.  For more details of what volunteering at DNC entails click HERE
 
Below are some of the people who have spent time with the children.  If you want to contact any of them directly, please let us know and we will pass on their contact details.
 
David Sinclair and Janice Newton (Pinkie Didi), who took part in the sponsored trek with some of our children, came back for a visit in Nov 2010.  They have raised a lot of money for the children and the new building
   
Paul and Sara-Jane Davis have visited every October since 2007. Sara is a trustee and has some experience of the building trade -she has been invaluable in helping with the new building.
   
Sam Moore is on a gap year and came to Nepal on his way home in Nov 2010.  He spent 2 months here trekking and helping the children and has written about his experiences HERE
   
Catherine Watkins spent 6 weeks at DNC in September 2010.

Katie & Dave are trainee physiotherapists who spent a month at DNC in July 2010
 
Laurel is from Canada and sent 3 months in Nepal in 2010.  She is a student and helped in various projects including DNC
 
Jemma and Charles spent a month at DNC in March 2010
 
  
Zandra Eccles from Australia was one of the first volunteers and has raised a great deal of money over the years.  She has now retired but continues to send  much needed items.  More HERE
 
  
Linda Grainge spent a year in Nepal with her husband who was with VSO.  She regularly visited the children.  More HERE
