Michael Le Marchant
Michael is a retired art dealer.  He has a specific interest in Nepal and Tibet.

Robert Bernays
Robert is a retired farmer with interests in education and care for the disabled. He hopes his team's experience in the provision of residential care will help the plans in Nepal.

Fran McGowan
, Chair
Fran has a background in nursing and psychotherapy.  She visits Kathmandu regularly.

Riki Kittel, Treasurer
Riki is a Trustee of ADEPT TRUST, a registered charity she set up in 1982 to train and assist into industry, profoundly deaf school leavers.  She has a computing degree and was employed to do mathematical modelling of electronic systems in the aeronautical industry.

Meg Thomas, Deputy chair
Meg has a background in nursing.  She was a JP and is on the board of prison visitors for Ashfield Young Offenders Institute.  She has successfully raised funds for many charities over the years including the Bristol Drugs Project.  She was awarded an MBE in 2010 for her charitable work.

Maureen Whitmore, Secretary
Maureen ran a brewery for 25 years with her husband (Butcombe Brewery).  She has now retired and apart from spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoy various activities, one of which is her involvement with NCT


Michael McGowan

Michael
is Fran's brother.  He owned a restaurant for many years.  He has now retired and visits Nepal 2-3 times a year to spend time with the children.  He is responsible for the web site.


Patricia Urquhart
Tricia is Fran's sister.  She is a retired health visitor and has a counselling practice.  She was a founder member and chair of Groundswell (a charity  to support people with HIV & AIDS and their families).

Martin Sisman
Martin is an almost retired solicitor, now working as a consultant to a small Bristol practice, but with almost 40 years voluntary service through community service clubs and charity trusteeships

Sarah Davies
Sarah is an occupational therapist who has visits DNC annually often with her family.  She also spent many years working in the building trade.  This experience has been of particular value to NCT in relation to our new building project in Kathmandu.
