We are absolutely thrilled that the children have now moved into the new building and we will publish much more information about this with pictures after the opening ceremony  on the 5th November 2011.

8 children graduated this year obtaining exceptionally high marks in their school leaving certificate exam.  Bishnu got a distinction (over 80%), Resham got 77% and all the other were in 1st division (over 60%).
This is a great achievement and a result of not only hard work done by the children but the support we have given to ensure that they have a good education.  All the children have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity they have been given to do so well.
The 7 boys have started 10+2 college (roughly equivalent to 6th form) and the one girl, Sunita, is waiting to hear if she has been accepted to study nursing. We are liaising with other donors to ensure support for all the children when they leave the centre.  Rob Rose (trifc.com) organise sponsorship to cover further education or training costs.  We are currently looking for sponsors to help some children whose families are too poor to support them at college.  For details of the children see under 'Who we support'
