Other Donors

We work in conjunction with other supporters so that The New Life Centre is not dependent on one donor alone. We hope this will ensure the long term security of the children and the New Life Centre.

Rotary Club of Kupondol, Kathmandu

u Administers funds from TRIFC (below).

u Pays for medical expenses, including surgery, physiotherapy.

u Counsels children about future study, training and job opportunities and encourages links with Rotoract (young Rotarians)

The Rose International Fund for Children (TRIFC)

Robert Rose, photographer and Rotarian, helps DNC through RCK. He visits the centre annually, often with his wife, Gina.

The fund offers:

u Travel expenses to help the children keep in touch with their families.

u Support and monitoring for the children when they leave the centre including further education and training.

u Help with smaller day to day expenses e.g. diet, provision of handrails and emergency lighting.

There are also many individual supporters, both from Nepal and abroad, in particular:

Zandra Eccles

Zandra has been a regular visitor to DNC for many years. She has fund raised at home in Australia providing clothes, bedding and furnishings, extra money for food and salaries. She has been instrumental in improving conditions and encouraging the children and staff in arts and crafts.

Shekhar Golchha

He is patron of DNC. His family foundation has been supporting DNC since it's inception in 1997. Their support includes a monthly donation towards administration costs and food.

R R Panday

He is a rotarian and owner of a local tour company and close friend of Robert Rose (above). He has contributed personally to support DNC with visits to the centre and support for education.
