About 50 people attended our Annual General Meeting on 25 October, and it was a pleasure to see so many of our Trustees, fund-raisers and supporters.
NCT Chairman Tricia Urquhart updated everyone on the latest happenings from Kathmandu, including the welcome news that repairs to the Disabled Newlife Centre are finished, after the damage caused by the 2015 earthquake.
Tricia concluded by saying that providing aid in a developing country continues to prove challenging but rewarding.
Two Trustees are stepping down – Nick Ponsford and Fran McGowan – and the meeting welcomed new Trustee Jonathan Wyld.
The meeting finished with a viewing of our new film, introduced by film-maker Jon Jacob. You can watch the film on Our Mission.
